Job description
Turner & Townsend's Contract Services Team delivers Contract Development, Contract Management, Dispute Resolution and Claims Management services across the region, with this Senior Consultant position based in Riyadh. You bring hands-on experience of standard forms of contract, claims management, dispute avoidance and dispute resolution within the built environment sectors, built on a background in a consultancy or contractor organization. Individuals in this role typically come from a quantity surveying, commercial management, engineering or legal background. Contract administration and commercial management experience on major projects both count here, alongside working knowledge of FIDIC and other standard form contracts and their associated processes and procedures. Claim reports get compiled as a core part of the workload, and arbitration or litigation experience is relevant where disputes escalate. Clients expect confident, client-facing engagement, so strong presentational skills matter. Performance forensics, whether from a quantum or delay background, feed into how claims and disputes get analyzed. You apply methodical analytical skills with a flexible, adaptable approach across a range of challenging scenarios. Experience supporting live contracts and projects in distress is an advantage, and the team also prepares and supports major bid proposals.
