Job description
As an Associate, you will join a client service team and take ownership of a workstream to solve some of the toughest challenges our clients face. These clients include Fortune 500 companies and innovative startups. You will help uncover true challenges behind client strategies and create actionable solutions. Working directly with clients and McKinsey teams, you will generate fresh insights through research, interviews, and data analysis. You will help implement transformations and drive long-term change while upholding McKinsey's commitment to impact. Your growth will be supported through continuous learning, mentorship, and global exposure.

Key responsibilities
- Take ownership of a workstream to solve complex client challenges
- Uncover underlying issues behind client strategies and provide actionable insights
- Collaborate directly with clients and internal teams to deliver results
- Conduct research, data analysis, interviews, and workshops to generate solutions
- Assist clients in refining strategies and implementing transformations
- Ensure knowledge transfer to clients for long-term impact
- Create work products including PowerPoint presentations and Excel models
- Travel as required to client sites including remote or challenging environments
- Uphold McKinseyâs values and maintain client trust
Experience & skills
- Advanced graduate degree (e.g., MBA, PhD) or equivalent work experience
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to initiate and complete tasks independently
- Strong communication skills in English and local office language(s)
- Proficiency in decision making using data and logical reasoning
- Ability to produce deliverables such as PowerPoint decks, Excel models, and written reports
- Exceptional time management skills in complex and autonomous work environments
- Willingness to work outside traditional business hours and accept last-minute assignments
- Ability to travel and work in various, sometimes challenging, environments
