To produce and maintain comprehensive financial management reports, analyses, and studies. Support and ensure Omantel compliance of Telecom Regulatory Reporting. Update and manage Service Profitability, Unit P&L Driven, and Costing Models. Prepare periodic regulatory and management reports, offering strategic financial and technical insights for informed regulatory and management decisions.

Key responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth financial and technical analysis to allocate costs across destinations, Services or units accurately
- Develop and update financial models and scenarios to evaluate profitability and assess potential changes
- Extract and analyze financial and functional data from ERP and different sources
- Analyze cost structures to identify opportunities for reduction, optimization, and efficiency improvement
- Assess the impact of pricing, costs, regulatory obligations, and market conditions on profitability
- Ensure quality financial and operational inputs for cost models, processes and reports
- Prepare and present profitability models, cost analyses, and insights to management
- Develop dashboards and reports to support strategic decision-making
- Extract, analyze, and validate financial data from ERP and other sources (GL, FAR, ATR and others)
- Maintain and audit data sources, responsibility hierarchies, and documentation
- Ensure proper cost allocation using appropriate drivers
- Maintain and update different cost models for Fixed and Mobile
- Validate reconciliation of SAS ABM reports with statutory financial statements
- Prepare and submit regulatory reports, including: Separated Regulatory Accounts (SRA), Divisional Financial Statements (DFS), Weighted Average Cost of Capital (WACC) calculations, Accounting Separation Methodology Documentation (ASMD), and other documents
- Ensure compliance with TRA Oman regulations and telecom financial standards
- Address regulatory audit observations and maintain a clean audit report
- Prepare financial reports mainly SRA and DFS in compliance with TRA Oman using FDC-HCA/CCA and LRIC methodologies
- Manage costing systems like SAS ABM for execution, validation, and reporting
- Develop and maintain audit documentation, ensuring alignment with accounting standards
- Conduct profitability assessments for telecom services, business units, and other studies
- Provide cost insights to support business unit strategies and pricing decisions
- Analyze activity costs and recommend optimizations for value maximization
- Implement a P&L-driven organization through reporting cost and revenue Unit wise
Experience & skills
- Bachelor in finance or accounting
- Preferred certifications: ACCA, CA, CIMA, FCA
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in finance or related domain
- Experience in financial modeling, ERP systems, and regulatory reporting
- Proficiency in SAS ABM costing systems
- Knowledge of FDC-HCA/CCA and LRIC methodologies
- Experience with telecom service profitability and regulatory audit compliance
- Strong understanding of TRA Oman regulations and telecom financial standards
