The Commercial Manager – New Businesses at instashop, headquartered in Dubai and part of the Delivery Hero family since 2020, plays a critical role in driving the company’s growth and expansion across the UAE and Egypt within the online food delivery and Q-commerce marketplace sector. Acting as the first point of contact for valued partners, the role is responsible for identifying and securing partnerships with top retailers in the region to build instashop’s network of high-quality shops aligned with standards of service excellence and growth objectives. The position involves building and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships with strategic partners and key accounts, driving the growth of mid-tier and strategic partner shops to strengthen market presence, and partnering with cross-functional teams to address gaps in products, processes, and operational metrics to optimize performance. The Commercial Manager tracks, reports, and analyzes performance of mid-tier and strategic partners to ensure alignment with monthly revenue and growth targets, mentors team members in acquisition, negotiation, and long-term relationship cultivation, and ensures performance targets are met by identifying and executing high-impact initiatives. The role provides feedback to enhance operational processes and overall customer experience, continuously refines business development strategies based on market trends to maximize growth opportunities, and develops tailored marketing packages in collaboration with the campaigns team to pitch to strategic accounts and drive revenue. The position requires proficiency in MS Office, CRM software, and data analysis tools, strong negotiation capabilities, experience securing high-impact partnerships, and the ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities to maximize profitability while maintaining and managing positive GPO and healthy PnL.

- Mentor team members in managing client relationships including acquisition, negotiation, and cultivation of long-term partnerships
- Ensure performance targets are achieved by identifying and executing high-impact initiatives

Experience & skills
- Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Demonstrate a minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a similar role preferably in retail or e-commerce
- Show proven negotiation skills and experience securing high-impact partnerships
- Exhibit proficiency in MS Office, CRM software, and data analysis tools
- Demonstrate ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities to maximize profitability and ensure long-term company success
