Job description
Presight, the UAE's leading AI and big data company, is seeking a Commercial Manager to drive commercial strategy, pricing models, and contract performance across cloud, AI, and data platform solutions. Based in Abu Dhabi, this role focuses on maximizing deal profitability, supporting enterprise bids, and overseeing financial and contractual compliance. The Commercial Manager will work cross-functionally with Sales, Legal, Finance, Product, and Delivery teams to ensure best-in-class commercial practices, from SaaS deal structuring to large-scale government and enterprise contracts. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with experience in hyperscaler pricing, revenue optimization, and advanced commercial analytics, playing a vital role in Presight's continued growth in the tech sector.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Develop financial models, business cases, and pricing structures for AI and cloud solution proposals
- Analyze deal profitability, TCV, and contract margin impact
- Design and implement pricing strategies for SaaS, PaaS, and consumption-based models
- Review and negotiate MSAs, SOWs, SLAs, and subscription agreements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage commercial risks and ensure contract compliance
- Advise senior leadership on pricing and commercial decisions
- Monitor industry trends and conduct competitive pricing benchmarking
- Contribute to client deal strategy, win/loss analysis, and margin improvement planning
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field
- 7–10 years of commercial management or pricing experience in cloud/AI/data sectors
- Expertise in enterprise SaaS pricing and large-scale IT contracts
- Strong financial modeling and contract negotiation capabilities
- Understanding of commercial legal frameworks and risk mitigation strategies
- Familiarity with hyperscaler (AWS, Azure, GCP) pricing models
- Knowledge of revenue recognition standards in software services
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
