Job description
Technical Account Directors (TAD) at Adobe are accountable for the technical success of Adobeās largest and most strategic customers. They develop and maintain a customer strategy critical for adoption, usage, and risk mitigation while aligning with executive stakeholders. The role involves serving as the technical executive point of contact, driving innovation, optimizing product investment, and ensuring seamless delivery of Adobeās solutions across multiple business units. TADs lead cross-functional teams, advocate for customer needs, and support customers in realizing the full value of their Adobe investment.

Key responsibilities
- Lead outstanding support engagement as the technical executive point of contact throughout the customerās solution lifecycle.
- Guide and support customer strategy with Adobe solutions via service delivery plans with clear outcomes.
- Assess strategic customer technical risks and opportunities and coordinate extended Adobe teams to build and drive recovery plans.
- Drive communication across customer operational areas and maintain governance with internal and external executive teams.
- Advocate for customers within Adobe, driving roadmap influence, process improvements, and best practices.
- Oversee the global engagement model and review cycle across multiple business units and brands.
- Coordinate delivery cadence across technical partners to achieve business objectives.
- Work with Adobeās Customer Success, Managed Services, Engineering, Product Management, TechOps, Support, and Consulting teams to support customer success.
- Lead matrixed services teams including Adobe, client, or partner organizations.
- Make recommendations on new and existing feature adoption, providing best practices.
- Lead architectural and design discussions to ensure optimized solutions.
- Mentor immediate team members as needed.
Experience & skills
- Bachelorās Degree in a related technical industry field or equivalent experience.
- 10ā15 years of experience in consulting, customer support, customer success, or marketing technology roles.
- Strong executive presence with ability to collaborate with C-level executives.
- Strong presentation skills in leading workshops and executive meetings.
- Conflict resolution skills and ability to close technical concerns.
- Experience across technical, architectural, business process, and partnership challenges.
- Knowledge of marketing software and domain principles.
- Experience with enterprise operating systems, installation, troubleshooting, and integration.
- Understanding of performance tuning, optimization, and debugging coding languages.
- Familiarity with Adobe Experience Cloud products (Analytics, AAM, AEM, AEP, Campaign, Commerce, Marketo, Target).
- Willingness to travel 25ā50% to client sites.
