Job description
The Sr. HVAC Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC systems across assigned project sites in Dubai and the Northern Emirates. The role ensures optimal system performance, compliance with safety standards, and timely resolution of technical issues. The incumbent will handle preventive and corrective maintenance of chillers, AHUs, FCUs, split units, and other HVAC equipment while supporting operational efficiency and service excellence.

Key responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of HVAC systems including chillers, AHUs, FCUs, and split/package units.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC and refrigeration systems.
- Install, commission, and test HVAC equipment as per project specifications.
- Read and interpret HVAC drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and environmental standards.
- Coordinate with supervisors and facility teams to ensure timely job completion.
- Maintain service logs, maintenance records, and technical documentation.
- Support emergency breakdown response and ensure minimal downtime.
- Assist in supervising junior technicians when required.
Experience & skills
- Technical Diploma or ITI certification in HVAC, Mechanical, or related discipline.
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on HVAC maintenance experience in commercial or industrial environments.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in HVAC and refrigeration systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Knowledge of safety standards and UAE regulations related to HVAC systems.
- Ability to work across multiple project sites in Dubai and Northern Emirates.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
