Job description
The Senior Manager - Residential Strategy is a strategic leadership role within the Residential Business Unit, responsible for guiding residential development teams in market-informed development approaches, optimizing portfolio variety and rollout, developing comprehensive strategies for target customer segments and product differentiation, refining business models including fees, scopes of work, and developer selection, analyzing end-to-end residential development processes for efficiencies, and representing the company with external consultants, funds, developers, and end-users. The role includes assessing investment structures, creating roadmaps for real estate development and investment entities, interfacing with relevant authorities, preparing business cases, and delivering presentations to senior management. Requires expertise in real estate investment analysis, market assessment, development strategy, financial modeling, stakeholder management across public and private sectors, and strategic decision-making.

Key responsibilities
- Identify gaps and opportunities in the residential development portfolio and optimize portfolio variety and rollout based on market analysis
- Develop comprehensive development strategies including target customer segments, product differentiation, and market adaptation
- Refine business models for the development department, including fees, scopes of work, developer selection, and highest best-use studies
- Analyze end-to-end residential development processes to identify efficiencies and optimization opportunities
- Create business cases and presentations for management communicating team and departmental information
- Represent the company with external consultants, funds, developers, and end-users
- Assess and evaluate different investment structures
- Develop roadmaps analyzing requirements, processes, and procedures for real estate development and investment entities, including interfacing with relevant authorities
Experience & skills
- 5-9 years of professional experience with a background in strategy consulting and real estate investment/development
- Minimum of 3 years in consulting
- Additional experience in real estate development, investment, or strategy preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Architecture, Engineering, or related field; MBA or Master's degree in relevant field advantageous
- Proven experience in real estate investment analysis, market assessment, development, and/or real estate strategy
- Strong financial modeling skills and ability to evaluate complex investment structures
- Experience managing stakeholders across public and private sectors
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
