Job description
As a Senior Project Manager at Jacobs, you will lead high-profile architectural and urban design projects in Saudi Arabia’s tourism sector, ensuring timely delivery, client satisfaction, and excellence in design. You will drive multidisciplinary teams, manage complex budgets and schedules, and provide strategic design leadership aligned with Jacobs’ core values of safety, sustainability, innovation, and excellence.
Required skills
Project management of architecture and design-build projects
Budgeting, resource allocation, and schedule management
Design review, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies
Client relationship management and stakeholder engagement
Team leadership and multidisciplinary coordination (architects, MEP, structural engineers, consultants)
Sustainable and innovative design methodologies
Safety management and regulatory compliance
Mega-project experience in Middle East preferred
Commercial awareness and adherence to quality standards
Key responsibilities
- Develop and manage project budgets, resources, and schedules
- Utilize project management tools and methodologies to optimize project performance
- Collaborate with project teams to define design objectives, deliverables, and milestones
- Conduct design reviews to identify risks and propose mitigation strategies
- Lead the design process from concept through completion
- Promote safety-first culture across all project activities
- Encourage innovative and sustainable design practices
- Engage with clients to understand their vision and maintain strong relationships
- Coordinate closely with multidisciplinary teams including architects, engineers, and consultants
- Ensure project adherence to Jacobs quality standards and regulatory requirements
Experience & skills
- 10+ years of project management experience in architecture/design-build
- Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget
- Hands-on experience with mega projects, ideally in the Middle East
- Strong knowledge of design management control principles
- Excellent client management and stakeholder communication skills
- Ability to lead and motivate diverse teams under pressure
- Commercially savvy and solution-oriented
- BS or MS in Architecture or Engineering; professional registration is a plus
