Job description
Support the planning and execution of all technical projects for P&O Maritime Logisticsā PSD fleet, ensuring accurate maintenance of technical records, PMS/NSE system implementation, and proper coordination of fleet maintenance activities. Act as PSD 'Advanced User' and 'Admin User' for internal and third-party portals, providing technical support and guidance to Business Units (BUs) and contractors. Maintain accurate databases, manage technical documentation, track expenditures, support QA inspections, and assist in budgeting and CAPEX/OPEX monitoring. Contribute to software troubleshooting, system optimization, and overall fleet technical efficiency.

Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a 5-year master plan for dry-dockings (DDs) and overhauls (OHs) for all PSD vessels.
- Monitor and report on DD performance and completion, ensuring technical documentation and records are accurate and up to date.
- Coordinate monthly high-level maintenance planning with CTM, DDMM, and Supervisors to ensure smooth execution of projects.
- Support the implementation and administration of PMS/NSE systems for new vessels and BUs, including managing service requests, DCR processes, and PM outstanding jobs statistics.
- Assist in preparation and tracking of CAPEX and OPEX, monitor dry-docking expenditures, maintain AFE records, and provide feedback on costs and requisitions.
- Maintain and update PSD vesselsā technical inspection reports and ensure timely submission of all required documentation.
- Coordinate with PSD contractors for timesheets, leave applications, and other administrative requests.
- Provide support for QA inspections and follow-up on non-conformities within PSD BUs.
- Manage technical software issues, liaise with vendors, and ensure smooth system functionality across Fusion, NSE, and other portals.
- Maintain a vessel and equipment database on Power BI and contribute to action tracker closure and overall technical department support.
Experience & skills
- Degree in Mechanical or Marine Engineering preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance planning, PMS administration, or marine technical operations.
- Experience with dry-docking, overhauls, and fleet maintenance planning.
- Familiarity with PMS/NSE systems and other software platforms for technical management.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Power BI, and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Knowledge of marine suppliers and operational procedures preferred.
- Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders, contractors, and business units effectively.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.
- Capable of managing technical documentation, reporting, and compliance with internal and external standards.
