Job description
The Senior Manager - Asset Handover role at Qiddiya Investment Company is responsible for leading and overseeing the end-to-end handover of assets from construction teams to operational teams across Qiddiya’s large-scale, multi-asset developments. The role ensures that assets are delivered on time, meet defined quality standards, and achieve full operational readiness. The position plays a critical role in strengthening asset performance, lifecycle management, and operational efficiency by developing and implementing asset management strategies, processes, and handover frameworks. The Senior Manager collaborates closely with project delivery teams, conducts risk assessments related to asset handover and operational integration, and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and asset management best practices. The role includes preparing and maintaining comprehensive handover documentation such as checklists, condition assessments, and maintenance requirements, analyzing asset performance data to inform continuous improvement, and training operational staff on asset-specific procedures, maintenance, and safety protocols. This position operates within a complex mega-project environment, managing multiple concurrent assets and stakeholders while supporting long-term asset value and operational sustainability.

- Facilitate and manage the asset handover process from construction to operations, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with quality standards
- Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement comprehensive asset management plans aligned with operational requirements
- Conduct risk assessments related to asset handover and operational integration and develop mitigation strategies
- Establish and maintain stakeholder communication channels to ensure alignment throughout the handover lifecycle
- Analyze asset performance data to support decision-making and improve future handover processes
- Prepare, maintain, and control detailed handover documentation including checklists, condition assessments, and maintenance requirements
- Train operational teams on asset-specific procedures, maintenance standards, and safety protocols
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across asset management and handover processes
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, asset management standards, and industry best practices
- Manage multiple asset handovers concurrently while meeting tight project timelines
Experience & skills
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Asset Management, Project Management, or a related discipline
- Possess a Master’s degree in a relevant field (preferred)
- Have a minimum of 10 years of experience in asset management, project handover, or related roles within large-scale construction or development projects
- Demonstrate strong understanding of asset lifecycle management and operational readiness best practices
- Have experience developing and implementing asset management strategies and handover processes
- Exhibit strong analytical capability to assess asset performance and operational risk
- Demonstrate ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
- Show detailed knowledge of industry standards and regulations governing asset management
