Job description
The Content Integrator role at Thales in Dubai operates within the aerospace and in-flight entertainment domain, supporting airline customers through the integration and validation of digital media content for IFE systems. The role is responsible for inspecting video and audio files to ensure compliance with company and airline specifications, identifying anomalies, and classifying content for rework or rejection where required. The position involves inputting and managing metadata such as synopses and images within the Digital Content Management System (DCMS), linking content assets, and ensuring strict adherence to QA/QC processes, checklists, and airline-specific standards for audit and reporting purposes. The role includes rack validation activities based on Grid specifications governing Passenger Graphical User Interface (PAX GUI) display requirements, troubleshooting integration issues, duplicating content to hard drives for airline and maintenance teams with full traceability, and operating specialized software tools such as Manzanita Stream Analyzer, Beyond Compare, VLC Player, and MD5 checksum utilities. The Content Integrator works closely with Media Managers and Content Service Providers, supports multiple assigned accounts, and contributes to revenue generation through accurate and compliant content delivery while ensuring Media Lab Equipment remains operational and compliant with technical standards.

Key responsibilities
- Inspect video and audio files to verify adherence to company and airline technical specifications and report anomalies for rework or rejection
- Identify and address quality issues in digital media files that do not conform to defined specifications
- Input and manage metadata including synopses and images within the Digital Content Management System (DCMS) and link media assets appropriately
- Complete QA/QC checklists and routers in compliance with airline specifications for task completion, reporting, and audit requirements
- Perform rack validation activities in line with Grid specifications for Passenger Graphical User Interface (PAX GUI) display requirements
- Verify anomalies identified during rack validation and determine corrective actions
- Support troubleshooting activities and perform peer reviews in the absence of a designated Lead
- Utilize Media Lab Equipment to duplicate digital content to hard drives and ensure full traceability of media assets shipped to and from airlines and maintenance teams
- Operate specialized software tools including Manzanita Stream Analyzer, Beyond Compare, VLC Player, and MD5 checksum tools to support content integration
- Anticipate and mitigate specification-related issues during the content integration process
- Ensure Media Lab Equipment is maintained in proper working condition
Experience & skills
- Hold an Associate’s Degree in a related field or a High School Diploma or GED with at least 2 years of experience working with IFE systems or equivalent digital media environments
- Demonstrate hands-on experience working with digital files, media systems, and content integration workflows
- Possess familiarity with Digital Content Management Systems and metadata handling
- Demonstrate experience operating QA/QC processes for digital media or technical content
- Demonstrate familiarity with SAP and Primavera tools
- Exhibit experience working with file movement across systems and folders in digital environments
- Demonstrate exposure to tools such as Version One and JIRA where applicable
- Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects within assigned accounts
