Job description
Propane Dehydrogenation (PDH), Ethylene Cracker (EC) and utilities processes in Jubail are the focus for this Process Engineer, who monitors and improves plant operations. Heat and material balance scenarios give operations the technical input it needs. Process simulation models are built and tested to assess expansion or reconfiguration options. Proposed design changes are weighed against environmental and economic factors, and scale-up or scale-down setups include equipment design and configuration changes. Working alongside process chemists and control engineers, you keep output high and the facility running efficiently. New projects need evaluation through design, installation and commissioning, with troubleshooting along the way. Risk assessments, process documentation, operating instructions and best practices support safer, more productive operation. Candidates need a Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering, 5 years of experience, familiarity with EC, PDH and utilities processes, and strong business English.
