Job description
The Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) role is responsible for leading Omantel’s enterprise-wide commercial agenda, defining how the organization competes, grows, and monetizes across Consumer and Enterprise markets. The role focuses on shaping commercial direction, revenue models, market execution frameworks, and enterprise-wide demand generation strategies that translate market demand into sustainable business value. The position oversees segmentation strategies, channels, and customer groups while ensuring coherent commercial governance across the organization. The CCO defines revenue models, monetization approaches, pricing discipline, and value realization mechanisms while maintaining margin sustainability and commercial coherence across all business units. The role integrates emerging technologies, digital platforms, and new business models into the commercial strategy to ensure future-ready growth. It involves translating market insights into scalable commercial opportunities, setting enterprise KPIs, and defining performance standards across portfolios. The CCO leads alignment between Consumer and Enterprise segments, ensuring unified commercial execution and coordination with MarCom, network, product, finance, legal, operations, and technology teams. The role requires collaboration with CTO functions to translate technical capabilities into viable commercial offerings and customer value propositions. It also involves oversight of demand generation frameworks, go-to-market execution, campaign structuring, and customer segmentation strategy. The CCO operates under the Chief Commercial and Operating Officer (CCOO) and communicates commercial strategy and performance outcomes directly to the Board and executive leadership. The role ensures enterprise-level performance governance, including escalation of execution risks and delivery constraints. It emphasizes building a strong commercial leadership pipeline, fostering data-driven decision-making, driving accountability, and embedding a growth-oriented commercial culture. The position ensures consistent customer value propositions, pricing alignment, and enterprise-level commercial discipline while enabling cross-functional execution across Consumer and Enterprise portfolios.
