Job description
The Process Engineering Specialist in Riyadh is responsible for analyzing, designing, implementing, and optimizing business processes to enhance operational efficiency, employee experience, and data integrity. The role focuses on streamlining administrative and operational workflows across departments such as HR, Finance, and IT. The specialist will evaluate existing processes, identify bottlenecks, and recommend data-driven or automated solutions. They are responsible for creating SOPs, maintaining process documentation, enforcing data governance, and collaborating with stakeholders to align operational improvements with organizational goals.

Key responsibilities
- Analyze current workflows to identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements for functions such as recruitment, onboarding, payroll, and other administrative operations.
- Design and implement optimized processes to enhance accuracy, speed, and employee experience.
- Develop and maintain standardized operating procedures (SOPs), process maps, and governance frameworks to ensure compliance and consistent quality.
- Use data analytics to measure process effectiveness, generate reports, and guide continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HR, Finance, and IT to ensure alignment of technology and process improvements with business objectives.
- Systematically map and evaluate workflows, recommending automation and digital solutions where appropriate.
- Monitor key process metrics and maintain dashboards to track performance and operational efficiency.
- Stay updated on local market trends, regulations, and Saudi Labor Law to ensure process compliance and best practices.
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- 3–6+ years of experience in process engineering, business transformation, or systems optimization.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Hands-on experience with IS/HRIS systems such as SAP, Oracle, or other HR/compensation management software.
- Excellent knowledge of process mapping, data analytics, and workflow optimization techniques.
- Ability to implement change management initiatives effectively across teams.
- Arabic native proficiency and excellent English communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate across multiple stakeholders and align process improvements with organizational goals.
