The Manager, Enterprise Acceptance (PayTech Merchant Acquisition & Payment Solutions) at Tap Payments is responsible for leading the acceptance team in achieving revenue targets, driving business growth, and expanding merchant adoption of Tap Payments’ cross-border payment solutions across the MENA region. Tap Payments operates within the FinTech and PayTech sector and focuses on revolutionizing online payments by providing businesses with simple, unified payment experiences that connect merchants with modern payment technology solutions. The role sits within the Business team, which serves as the commercial engine of the organization and focuses on merchant acquisition, enterprise sales, and business development across the payments ecosystem. The Manager, Enterprise Acceptance leads a team responsible for identifying and engaging promising merchants and prospects that contribute to a strong sales pipeline and sustainable merchant portfolio growth. The role involves developing and implementing sales strategies that position Tap Payments’ payment solutions effectively in the market while enabling businesses to navigate the MENA payments landscape. Responsibilities include selling cross-border payment solutions and services through multiple sales channels including cold calling, direct meetings, business networking, and industry events. The Manager acts as a subject matter resource for merchants evaluating Tap Payments products and supports prospective clients by answering detailed questions regarding platform capabilities and payment technology features. The role requires preparing structured sales presentations and commercial proposals for prospective merchants while managing the full sales cycle and acting as the main point of contact for merchants and strategic partners. Additional responsibilities include maintaining a well-organized portfolio of merchant accounts, nurturing key accounts to support long-term business relationships, and collaborating with other sales teams to exchange best practices, share key business insights, and analyze industry trends within the PayTech sector. The position requires strong negotiation and communication skills to close new merchant deals and expand Tap Payments’ merchant network while ensuring alignment with the company’s growth strategy across the MENA payments ecosystem. The role operates in a fast-paced FinTech environment that emphasizes collaboration, innovation, and high-performance commercial execution.

- Lead and mentor the Enterprise Acceptance team by setting performance targets, monitoring revenue achievement, supporting professional development, and ensuring the team consistently delivers strong merchant acquisition performance and customer service outcomes.
- Develop and implement sales strategies that drive business growth and merchant adoption of Tap Payments cross-border payment solutions across the assigned market while supporting the company’s expansion within the MENA PayTech ecosystem.
- Identify high-potential merchants and prospects by analyzing market opportunities and building a strong sales pipeline that supports long-term merchant acquisition and sustainable revenue growth.
- Sell cross-border payment solutions and PayTech services to prospective merchants through cold calling, business meetings, networking activities, and participation in industry events while positioning Tap Payments as a trusted payment technology partner.
- Support prospective merchants during the evaluation process by explaining Tap Payments product capabilities, addressing technical and commercial questions, and demonstrating how payment solutions meet the operational needs of merchant businesses.
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive sales presentations and commercial proposals for prospective merchants outlining payment solutions, platform capabilities, and commercial value propositions designed to secure new merchant partnerships.
- Manage the complete sales process and serve as the primary point of contact for merchants and strategic partners while maintaining a structured merchant portfolio and nurturing key accounts to support long-term business relationships.
- Collaborate with cross-functional sales teams to share business insights, best practices, and industry trends while applying advanced negotiation and communication techniques to successfully close new merchant agreements.
Experience & skills
- Possess 6–8 years of professional experience in enterprise sales, merchant acquisition, or payment solutions roles with demonstrated expertise in PayTech platforms and payment technology environments.
- Demonstrate in-depth understanding of PayTech industry operations including merchant onboarding processes, cross-border payment solutions, payment processing services, and digital payment ecosystems across the MENA region.
- Show proven ability to lead sales teams by mentoring team members, guiding team discussions, and driving performance outcomes aligned with revenue targets and business growth objectives.
- Possess strong sales capabilities including cold calling, networking, proposal development, sales presentations, negotiation, and sales pipeline management within enterprise-level merchant environments.
- Demonstrate experience building and maintaining relationships with merchants, partners, and business stakeholders while managing key account portfolios and strengthening long-term client engagement.
- Show ability to analyze industry trends, identify emerging market opportunities, and contribute strategic business insights that support payment solution adoption and commercial expansion.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and negotiation capabilities in English for managing merchant relationships, delivering sales presentations, and closing enterprise deals, with Arabic language ability considered an advantage.
- Possess strong problem-solving capabilities with the ability to anticipate challenges, respond quickly to complex sales scenarios, and operate effectively within a high-growth FinTech environment.
