Job description
The Senior Manager - Health & Safety at Majid Al Futtaim Entertainment is responsible for designing and executing the health and safety strategy across all operational businesses in the region. This role leads the development and ongoing enhancement of the company's HSE management system, digital platforms, and approved training center. The manager ensures compliance with international standards and local regulations while providing leadership for audits, performance reporting, and digital integration in safety processes. The position also involves strategic input into board-level decisions and cross-functional collaboration to ensure world-class operational safety across the organization.

Key responsibilities
- Support Majid Al Futtaimās business expansion through effective customer experience and stakeholder management in HSE
- Participate in Board paper preparation articulating business goals and investment strategies for health and safety
- Ensure compliance with international standards such as ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001, ISO 22000, and local legal requirements
- Oversee the planning and implementation of the MAFE HSE audit plan and report H&S performance to stakeholders
- Provide regular updates to MAFE senior leadership regarding business safety and health-related performance
- Lead the digital transformation of operations including checklists, inspections, audits, incident reporting, and data analysis
- Manage the creation and maintenance of a digital hub for policies, procedures, and forms
- Develop automated analytical tools and dashboards for monitoring HSE performance metrics
Experience & skills
- At least 10 years of professional experience, with a minimum of 5 years in HSE management
- University degree in a technical field and a NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent in Occupational Health and Safety
- Experience in mechanical and electrical systems is an advantage
- Experience in mechanical rides operations and annual inspections is preferred
- Strong knowledge of EN 13814; ISO 45001, 9001, 14001, and 17020 standards
- Excellent problem-solving abilities using management information for corrective and preventative measures
- Strong English communication skills (Arabic fluency is a plus)
- Willingness to travel regionally and occasionally internationally
