Job description
The Head of Brand & Communications (MENAT) at Amazon will lead the strategic planning and execution of Amazon's brand image and communications across the Middle East and North Africa. The role focuses on building a locally relevant, customer-centric brand, delivering integrated marketing campaigns spanning ATL, digital, and social media. Reporting to the Head of XCM (MENAT), this leader collaborates with cross-functional teams including category marketing, Worldwide and Emerging Markets teams, Media and Portfolio, and Research. Responsibilities include developing brand positioning and segmentation strategies, crafting full-funnel marketing campaigns, managing creative and media agencies, overseeing message localization for markets like UAE, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia, and leveraging data and customer insights to shape and optimize brand health and campaign impact. Candidates must be bilingual in Arabic and English, experienced in managing regional brand campaigns within global frameworks, and demonstrate excellence in both creative leadership and operational execution.

- Develop and execute the image and voice of the Amazon MENAT brand
- Ensure brand consistency of creative and communication assets across all marketing channels
- Measure campaign results and optimize current and future campaigns based on data and insights
- Lead development of integrated marketing campaigns spanning ATL, digital, and social media
- Collaborate with media, portfolio, and insights teams to align campaign investments and content with customer behavior and brand health metrics
- Brief and manage creative and media agencies for campaign execution
- Customize brand messaging to resonate with diverse customer segments across UAE, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia
- Stay informed on cultural trends to ensure culturally resonant and relevant communication
- Support brand governance and ensure alignment with global brand frameworks
- Engage in strategic partnerships and lead cross-functional planning and communication
Experience & skills
- 9+ years of marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive campaign improvements
- Experience building, executing, and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
- Experience developing and executing campaigns across multiple time zones and languages
- Deep local experience in brand building across the MENA region
- Proven success with creative development and collaboration with creative agencies
- Proficiency in Arabic and English
- Experience with ATL and digital brand/media planning and execution
- Demonstrated ability to deliver integrated campaigns for high-profile brands
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
