Job description
The Senior Specialist / Lead Threat Intelligence Analyst role at CPX is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and transforming large volumes of cyber threat data into actionable intelligence that protects and strengthens the organization’s digital environment. The role operates at the center of CPX’s Threat Intelligence Center, contributing to situational awareness, intelligence-led decision-making, and continuous enhancement of threat intelligence processes, tools, and capabilities. The position requires advanced analytical and investigative expertise across the full intelligence lifecycle, including all-source intelligence collection, assessment of adversary motivation, intent, and capability, attribution analysis, and dissemination of high-quality intelligence products. The role collaborates closely with internal stakeholders to define intelligence requirements, provide business context to emerging threats, and support large-scale security operations across corporate, government, or military-grade environments.

Key responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, and distribute cyber threat intelligence from multiple internal and external sources using all-source intelligence methodologies.
- Manage and optimize threat intelligence platforms and continuously monitor intelligence feeds for relevance and effectiveness.
- Prepare and deliver high-quality intelligence products including threat reports, assessments, briefings, recommendations, and analytic papers.
- Develop, manage, and continuously improve threat intelligence processes, templates, and procedures.
- Validate and assist in authoring threat intelligence platform processes and standard operating procedures.
- Define and refine corporate intelligence requirements in alignment with evolving business needs, priorities, and technologies.
- Disseminate intelligence outputs including threat alerts, reports, and briefings to relevant stakeholders.
- Contribute to organizational situational awareness by providing business context to active and emerging cyber threats.
- Conduct intelligence assessments to determine attack characteristics, threat actor attribution, motivations, intent, and capabilities.
- Enhance the Threat Intelligence Center through innovation in tools, methodologies, and analytical capabilities.
- Explore future developments in cyber threat intelligence and mentor junior analysts.
- Support weekly, monthly, and on-demand reporting requirements to enable mission-focused discussions.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by line management.
Experience & skills
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in computer information systems or a related discipline, or possess equivalent professional experience.
- Demonstrate a minimum of 8 years of experience as a cyber threat analyst, threat researcher, or intelligence analyst.
- Possess deep expertise in the intelligence lifecycle, intelligence collection methods, analysis, and production.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of threat intelligence platforms and analytics software.
- Show in-depth understanding of cyber-attack vectors, detection techniques, malware analysis, cybercrime networks, and adversary methodologies.
- Demonstrate strong understanding of threat models including the cyber kill chain and diamond model.
- Possess formal intelligence analysis training or equivalent applied intelligence experience.
- Demonstrate experience operating in large-scale security environments such as major enterprises, government, or military organizations.
- Hold or pursue professional certifications such as CISSP, GIAC, or equivalent information security or cyber threat intelligence credentials.
- Exhibit strong analytical tradecraft with the ability to defend assessments and conclusions.
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
