The Business Analyst – Sales Administration, Planning and Support role at Citi in Dubai is responsible for enabling sales effectiveness, strengthening operational governance, and supporting day-to-day business processes within the sales organization. The role involves providing end-to-end administrative and operational support to sales teams, ensuring adherence to internal standards and seamless execution of business operations. The position requires strong data analysis and trend analysis capabilities to evaluate operational data, identify patterns, inconsistencies, and performance gaps, and recommend process improvement and workflow optimization initiatives. The role includes monitoring KPIs, performance metrics, and business scorecards to ensure alignment with business requirements and productivity targets. A key component of the role is executing control assessment activities, including the Managers Control Assessment (MCA), ensuring compliance with policies, standards, and procedures, and enhancing the control environment to mitigate risk exposure. The Business Analyst supports operational governance through reporting, documentation, and participation in governance routines, while also managing outsourced vendor relationships, including monitoring KPIs, service levels, and vendor performance. The role involves contributing to transition projects by coordinating tasks, tracking progress, and ensuring process adherence during change initiatives. It requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, sales agents, vendor teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication across business units. The position demands working knowledge of industry practices, operational standards, administrative processes, and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently within a dynamic banking environment.

Key responsibilities
- Provide end-to-end administrative and operational support to sales teams ensuring smooth business processes and adherence to internal standards
- Analyze operational data using data analysis and trend analysis techniques to identify patterns, inconsistencies, and performance gaps impacting productivity and customer experience
- Monitor KPIs, performance metrics, and business scorecards to ensure alignment with business requirements and sales effectiveness
- Recommend and implement process improvement and workflow optimization initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
- Execute control assessment activities including Managers Control Assessment (MCA) in compliance with policies, standards, and procedures
- Identify control gaps and implement enhancements to strengthen operational governance and reduce risk exposure
- Manage outsourced vendor relationships by monitoring KPIs, service levels, and vendor performance
- Participate in governance routines by preparing reporting, maintaining documentation, and ensuring compliance requirements are met
- Support transition projects by coordinating tasks, tracking progress, and ensuring adherence to processes during change initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, sales agents, vendor teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and issue resolution
Experience & skills
- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with experience in data analysis, trend analysis, and performance metrics monitoring
- Exhibit experience working with or managing outsourced vendors including KPI monitoring and governance routines
- Show exposure to process improvement initiatives, workflow optimization, or transition projects
- Possess working knowledge of operational governance, compliance, and control assessment frameworks including Managers Control Assessment (MCA)
- Demonstrate ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a dynamic environment
- Exhibit knowledge of industry practices, operational standards, and administrative processes within a sales or banking environment
- Demonstrate stakeholder management skills with ability to collaborate across multiple teams and business units
- Possess experience in reporting, documentation, and supporting governance routines within business operations
