The Logistics Supervisor within Amazon Logistics (AMZL) and Fulfilment Center (FC) operations is responsible for leading and managing fast-paced operational environments across delivery logistics and warehouse fulfilment functions. The role oversees daily operations for teams including Operations Supervisors, Operations Assistants, Delivery Service Providers, and associates, typically managing 30–40 team members. The position requires strong operational leadership to allocate labor, assign job duties, lead meetings, and ensure smooth execution of logistics and fulfilment workflows. The Logistics Supervisor is responsible for ensuring adherence to Amazon Health and Safety standards while fostering a safe, productive, and high-performing work environment. The role involves continuous monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying performance gaps, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions to improve operational efficiency. The supervisor must be highly data-driven, using performance metrics to drive continuous improvement across both logistics and fulfilment center processes. The role requires identifying process inefficiencies, developing streamlined solutions, and improving operational workflows without compromising quality or functionality. The Logistics Supervisor also supports inventory accuracy within fulfilment center operations and ensures proper management of warehouse stock systems. The role includes effective communication of daily metrics, reporting exceptions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve operational challenges and share best practices. The supervisor is responsible for managing external agency relationships, ensuring alignment with operational goals, and influencing decisions through clear communication with both technical and business stakeholders. The position requires strong decision-making abilities in a fast-paced environment, supporting technology rollouts, ensuring proper use of operational tools and systems, and coordinating maintenance or replacement of equipment. The role contributes to continuous improvement initiatives, operational excellence, and efficient logistics execution within Amazon’s global supply chain network.

- Oversee daily operations across Amazon Logistics (AMZL) and Fulfilment Center (FC) environments while managing teams of Operations Supervisors, Operations Assistants, Delivery Service Providers, and associates to ensure efficient workflow execution
- Allocate labor, assign job duties, and lead daily operational meetings to ensure alignment, productivity, and adherence to operational targets and schedules
- Lead, train, and develop high-performing teams while fostering a safe, positive, and motivating work environment aligned with Amazon Health and Safety standards
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze performance metrics, and conduct root cause analysis to identify operational issues and implement corrective actions
- Drive continuous process improvement by identifying inefficiencies, simplifying workflows, and implementing scalable operational solutions across logistics and fulfilment operations
- Communicate daily operational metrics and exceptions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and ensure alignment across departments
- Manage inventory accuracy within fulfilment center operations ensuring proper stock control, tracking, and system alignment
- Support deployment and usage of operational technologies and tools while ensuring system readiness, equipment availability, and coordination of maintenance or replacement activities
Experience & skills
- Demonstrate experience managing teams in operational or logistics environments with responsibility for performance and workforce coordination
- Demonstrate experience with planning, performance metrics, and process improvement in high-volume operational settings
- Demonstrate experience in logistics operations or fulfilment center environments with understanding of supply chain workflows
- Demonstrate experience in data analysis for operational performance tracking and decision-making support
- Demonstrate ability to monitor KPIs, identify performance gaps, and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills with ability to conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
- Demonstrate experience managing operational tools, systems, and technology rollouts in warehouse or logistics environments
