Job description
The Specialist - Logistics & Fulfilment at Majid Al Futtaim Lifestyle is responsible for executing end-to-end supply chain and logistics operations for merchandise planning and fulfillment in Riyadh. The role focuses on day-to-day operational supply chain management to maximize process efficiency and productivity, ensuring time- and cost-effective logistics that meet business objectives. Responsibilities include monitoring daily replenishments to stores, launch deliveries, store returns, and order fulfillment for both merchandise and non-merchandise items in alignment with Visual Merchandising and Marketing requirements. The role involves tracking, recording, and managing shipment incidents and discrepancies with partners and stakeholders, preparing up-to-date operational reports on logistics performance, validating service provider invoices, conducting regular reconciliation with Finance to update all booked/unbooked service provider invoices, and continuously monitoring supplier and service provider performance against agreed KPIs and SLAs. The position requires providing exemplary customer service to all internal and external stakeholders by delivering timely and relevant information for sound business decisions while contributing to process efficiency improvement and cost optimization within a high-volume, multi-site retail environment.

Key responsibilities
- Execute end-to-end supply chain activities for assigned merchandise and non-merchandise items, ensuring seamless operational flow and timely fulfillment to meet business objectives.
- Monitor daily replenishments, store deliveries, launch orders, and store returns, coordinating with merchandising and marketing requirements to maintain accurate inventory levels and on-time availability.
- Track, record, and manage all shipment incidents and discrepancies with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure timely resolution and minimal operational impact.
- Prepare and maintain up-to-date logistics performance and operational activity reports, providing data-driven insights to support management decision-making.
- Validate service provider invoices for accuracy and ensure all charges are consistent with agreed contractual terms and service level agreements.
- Conduct regular reconciliation with the Finance team to ensure all booked and unbooked service provider invoices are updated and accurately recorded in financial systems.
- Continuously monitor supplier and service provider performance against established KPIs and SLAs, implementing corrective actions to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Provide exemplary customer service to internal and external stakeholders by supplying relevant, timely information to facilitate smooth business operations.
- Identify and implement process efficiency improvements in supply chain and logistics operations to achieve cost and time optimization while maintaining high service standards.
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a relevant field from a recognized institution.
- 3-5 years of experience in supply chain or logistics management, preferably within a retail or high-volume transactional environment.
- Exposure to multi-site retail operations with high-volume transactions is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word for operational reporting and documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in tracking shipments, managing discrepancies, and validating invoices.
- Ability to execute end-to-end logistics operations efficiently, ensuring timely replenishments and order fulfillment.
- Experience in monitoring supplier and service provider performance against KPIs and SLAs, with the ability to implement corrective measures.
- Capability to reconcile service provider invoices with Finance and maintain accurate operational and financial records.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills to provide timely information and support decision-making.
