Job description
E&I project delivery across yard, offshore, and onsite phases in the UAE and KSA sits with this Lead Project Engineer role, reporting through EID, PD/PMT/PM, and CM (E&I) to keep execution on track. You will coordinate E&I activities with the Project Management Team and other disciplines including Subcontracts, Procurement, Engineering, QAS, Planning, and the Offshore department. Execution runs across PMT, Construction, and Offshore phases in line with Company QAS procedures and HSE requirements, staying within the time schedule and estimated budget. Construction deliverables such as Installation Procedures and Inspection & Test Plans get finalized, alongside correspondence drafted for PD/PM review and Client approvals followed up on drawings and documents. Site activities get supervised directly and through Site Engineers, with corrective steps taken in consultation with PD/PM, EID, and CM (E&I) whenever schedules or budgets come under pressure. Offshore work adds its own layer, from preparing schedules against available Marine Spread to attending kick-off and progress meetings, coordinating with Client shutdown schedules, and running site surveys for Green and Brown Field scope. Coordination extends further still, working with Engineering on design and constructability issues, Onshore Interface Contractors on interface problems, and Procurement to keep materials moving on time between KSA and UAE. Leading a team of Site and Yard Engineers, developing execution plans, and flagging delays with mitigation options round out the role.
