Job description
ADNOC Sour Gas sits inside one of the world's largest integrated energy groups, and this Senior Engineer role provides technical expertise across Instrumentation and Control engineering and design for the business. You'll coordinate with other Technical Departments, Business Units, Operations and contractors to resolve technical issues and keep I&C engineering design execution and integrity on track. Scope of work for external consultants and EPC contractors gets prepared here, and design work from Engineering Consultants gets reviewed against technical requirements and company standards. Drawings, specifications and technical documents for Instrumentation and Controls design pass through you for review and approval, alongside calculations for design validation and optimization. Company standards, Technical Specifications, Design Philosophies and Engineering Guidelines all get input and updates from this role, keeping documentation aligned with how the business actually operates. Technical authority reviews cover vendor and supplier deviations or non-compliance requests against company specifications, while day to day work includes planning, supervising and coordinating activities across the assigned area. Staff development sits alongside the technical side, training team members on relevant skills so they can grow into their section objectives. Budget input, variance investigation and HSE compliance round out the responsibilities, all delivered in line with ADNOC's Code of Practices and international standards. A bachelor's degree in Instrumentation, Electronics or Control Engineering is required, along with eight years of relevant experience.
