The Product Manager I (Careem Plus Membership & AI-Driven Product) role at Careem in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is responsible for driving product strategy, execution, and growth for the Careem Plus membership offering within the Careem Everything App. Careem operates across 70+ cities in 10 countries across the Middle East, from Morocco to Pakistan, serving more than 70 million customers and enabling earnings for over 2.5 million Captains. Careem is entering a new AI-powered phase, seeking talent capable of applying Artificial Intelligence to build tools, automate workflows, enhance customer experience, streamline operations, and reimagine internal systems. The Careem Plus program launched in 2021 and expanded across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Sharjah, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and Kuwait, including strategic partnerships with banks such as HSBC, ENBD, Arab Bank, and telecom providers such as e&. The Product Manager I will act as a co-founder of the Careem Plus business, leading end-to-end product initiatives, shaping the product roadmap, and executing growth strategies powered by AI and data-driven decision-making. The role involves owning complex feature delivery across the Super App, managing dependencies across services including mobility, food delivery, groceries, and payments, and ensuring measurable customer value. The candidate will leverage market research, analytics, SQL, hypothesis testing, experimentation, and data-driven insights to identify opportunities and drive business growth. The role requires collaboration across cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, analytics, and business stakeholders, while building partnerships with banks, telecom companies, and technology partners. The Product Manager I will also foster product excellence, align stakeholders, and deliver seamless end-to-end member experiences while supporting the Head of Product in long-term product strategy and roadmap development. The position follows a hybrid working model with four days in office and one day remote, or two office days for individual contributor roles in tech, and includes opportunities for remote work from any country for up to 30 days per year, along with healthcare benefits, fitness reimbursements, and unlimited vacation days.

Key responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end product initiatives for Careem Plus from ideation through product launch, impact measurement, and optimization while leveraging Artificial Intelligence, AI automation, and data-driven experimentation to deliver measurable customer value
- Own and deliver complex product features across the Careem Everything App including dependencies across mobility, food delivery, groceries, payments, and membership services while ensuring timely delivery and seamless integration
- Support the Head of Product in defining product roadmap, long-term product strategy, and growth initiatives aligned with Careem Plus business objectives and membership expansion goals
- Use market research, analytics, industry trends, SQL-based data analysis, and hypothesis testing to identify opportunities and shape product growth strategies within the Careem ecosystem
- Leverage Artificial Intelligence and automation to optimize product lifecycle management, improve customer experience, streamline operations, and enhance product capabilities
- Build and manage strategic partnerships with banks, telecom providers, and external membership platforms including HSBC, ENBD, Arab Bank, and e& to expand Careem Plus value proposition
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, analytics, and business stakeholders to align priorities and deliver seamless end-to-end member experience
- Drive product excellence by fostering communication, feedback loops, experimentation culture, and continuous improvement within the product squad while measuring performance and customer impact
Experience & skills
- Demonstrate 3–5 years of experience in product management, preferably in customer-facing applications, Super Apps, or technology platforms with end-to-end feature ownership
- Demonstrate proven experience leveraging Artificial Intelligence and AI automation to optimize product lifecycle management, enhance features, and automate workflows
- Exhibit strong analytical and data proficiency including hands-on SQL expertise for data extraction, analytics, experimentation, and hypothesis validation
- Demonstrate experience in building product strategy, product roadmap planning, and feature delivery within complex multi-service platforms
- Demonstrate ability to conduct market research, analyze industry trends, and identify growth opportunities across digital ecosystems
- Demonstrate experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, analytics, and business stakeholders in fast-paced environments
- Demonstrate experience working with external partners such as banks, telecom providers, and technology platforms to build strategic product partnerships
