Job description
Noon Academy is hiring an IT Operations Engineer (Procurement & Hardware Deployment) in Riyadh to build and run the technology that powers next-generation schools. The role leads end-to-end procurement of IT equipmentāTVs, tablets, speakers, cameras, microphones, and Windows TVsānegotiates contracts to secure best pricing, and maintains vendor relationships. It implements rigorous inventory governance by tagging and maintaining detailed serialāroomācampus mappings, managing warehouse operations, ensuring accurate and auditable stock levels, and overseeing delivery logistics of IT assets to schools. The position supports on-site hardware setup: installing cameras, microphones, speakers, and Windows TVs; ensuring TVs run the latest Windows OS and Chrome; and coordinating with Facilities and Delivery to establish temporary labs for special sessions (e.g., GenAI for MCIT) by preparing TV/speaker/camera setups and initializing/updating tablets with the latest Noon apps and logins. After each lab or event, the engineer ensures all hardware is collected, logged, and returned to inventory. The role requires strong organization and documentation discipline, familiarity with tagging and inventory tools, and the ability to coordinate deployments across multiple campuses and teams within a fast-paced, mission-driven EdTech environment focused on scaling world-class teaching and reinventing school experiences in Saudi Arabia.

Key responsibilities
- Lead procurement of IT equipment (TVs, tablets, speakers, cameras, microphones, Windows TVs) including vendor sourcing, pricing negotiations, and contract execution
- Maintain vendor relationships and benchmark costs to ensure best-value purchasing aligned with budget and standards
- Tag and maintain detailed asset records with serialāroomācampus mapping for full traceability
- Manage warehouse operations to maintain accurate, auditable stock levels and enforce receiving/issuing controls
- Oversee delivery logistics of IT assets to schools, ensuring timely, complete, and documented dispatches
- Install and configure school hardware (cameras, microphones, speakers, Windows TVs) to deployment standards
- Ensure all TVs run the latest Windows OS and Chrome; perform required imaging/updates prior to handover
- Initialize and update tablets with the latest Noon apps and correct logins for classroom and lab use
- Coordinate with Facility and Delivery teams to set up temporary labs for special sessions (e.g., GenAI for MCIT), including AV and device preparation
- Collect, log, and return all lab/event hardware to inventory post-use, reconciling against dispatch records
- Maintain accurate documentation, SOPs, and checklists for procurement, installation, logistics, and returns
- Monitor stock levels, perform cycle counts, and prepare reports on inventory accuracy, utilization, and shrinkage
- Escalate supply risks and propose mitigation plans (buffer stock, alternate suppliers, staggered deliveries)
- Collaborate across campuses and internal teams to schedule deployments with minimal instructional disruption
- Drive continuous improvement in procurement, logistics, and setup workflows to increase speed and reliability
Experience & skills
- 3ā5 years of experience in IT procurement, operations, or infrastructure setup
- Strong negotiation and contract-management skills with proven vendor coordination
- Familiarity with hardware installation, asset tagging, and inventory tools/processes
- Excellent organization and documentation discipline with attention to detail
- Ability to coordinate work across multiple campuses and cross-functional teams
- Comfort working full-time on-site in Riyadh and supporting time-bound school deployments
