Job description
Sales and Trading desks across FAB's Global Markets business rely on the Dealer Assist & Data Readiness team at One FAB Tower in Abu Dhabi for fast, accurate operational support. This AVP role supports the VP & Head of GM MO Trade Support and runs the team's day-to-day work. Client ready-to-trade coordination is a big part of it, tracking counterparty setup, accounts, portfolios, SSIs and static and reference data with KYC, Credit, Compliance, GM Documentation and Reference Data. On T0, you handle Dealer Assist requests, trade booking queries, allocations and enrichment follow-up, and monitor affirmation and confirmation items so trades are ready to settle. Control and governance matters such as reconciliations, collateral and regulatory reporting are handed off to the owning functions. Request logs, readiness trackers and MI on SLA adherence and backlog ageing keep management informed. Process work matters too, through UAT, workflow automation, dashboard development and better STP. Specialists in the team look to you for coaching and task allocation across FX/MM, Derivatives, Commodities and Capital Markets. Expect to bring 7 or more years in Global Markets Operations, Middle Office or Trade Support, with working knowledge of Murex, Bloomberg and MarkitWire.
Required skills
Key responsibilities

- Triage, prioritise and allocate Front Office requests across assigned products, desks and regional coverage points
- Support trade booking queries, client account and portfolio allocations and trade-flow coordination for Sales and Trading desks
- Maintain request logs, workload trackers, escalation records and service commentary
- Escalate recurring Dealer Assist issues, process gaps and capacity constraints to the VP & Head of GM MO Trade Support
- Coordinate client onboarding and ready-to-trade activities with KYC, Credit, Compliance, GM Documentation, Reference Data, Operations and Front Office
- Track client, counterparty, product, account, portfolio, SSI, static and reference data dependencies for trading enablement

- Keep readiness trackers current with open actions, owners, deadlines and risks
- Resolve data-quality and setup issues with Reference Data, Technology, Operations and Market Risk
- Perform completeness checks on operational data dependencies and route open items appropriately
- Drive new product operational readiness across data, system and workflow dependencies
- Investigate recurring data-readiness issues and support remediation and process standardisation
- Handle T0 non-economic booking support, enrichment follow-up and allocation support
- Partner with T0 Validation teams so trade-support information is complete for validation, affirmation, confirmation and settlement
- Monitor assigned affirmation and confirmation items and follow up where trade-support data is missing
- Transfer unresolved control, reconciliation, collateral, regulatory and risk-monitoring matters to GM MO Control & Governance or other owners
- Act as the day-to-day Trade Support contact for Front Office Sales and Trading desks
- Compile inputs for service reporting, dashboards, request volumes, SLA adherence, backlog ageing and recurring issue themes
