Job description
GEMS Education is seeking a Graphic Designer to join its Corporate Office in Dubai. This creative role involves the development of engaging design concepts and layouts that effectively showcase the GEMS brand across both traditional and digital media. The designer will collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to global brand identity rollouts, and ensure creative outputs are aligned with business objectives. The ideal candidate will possess strong software skills and a keen eye for innovation and detail.

Key responsibilities
- Develop creative concepts, graphics, and layouts that align with the GEMS brand and appeal to diverse audiences
- Roll out the new GEMS corporate identity across global platforms and materials
- Think creatively to produce innovative ideas and visual content for both traditional and digital media
- Adapt design briefs to meet cost and time constraints while maintaining high quality
- Collaborate with internal business units to understand their design requirements and deliver tailored visual solutions
- Work closely with marketing, communications, web developers, and content teams to design around messaging and strategy
- Continuously evolve and grow skillset to stay aligned with industry trends and maintain competitive positioning
Experience & skills
- BA in Graphic Design or a related field from a recognized institution
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and PowerPoint
- Experience with Dreamweaver and Flash is a significant advantage
- Proven track record in developing creative concepts that meet tight deadlines and budget constraints
- Solid knowledge of artwork preparation, print, production, and finishing processes
- Understanding of the full marketing mix and ability to integrate design across channels
