The Procurement Manager (Airline Sourcing & Vendor Management) role is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, within the aviation industry, and is responsible for leading and executing end-to-end procurement activities across the airlineās operational, commercial, and corporate functions. The role ensures compliance with internal governance frameworks, cost-control structures, and contractual standards while driving procurement excellence, supplier performance, and cross-functional alignment across multiple stations and departments. The position plays a critical role in developing and implementing sourcing strategy for key airline categories including ground handling, catering, inflight products, logistics, and crew uniforms, ensuring continuity of supply and operational efficiency. The Procurement Manager is responsible for aligning procurement activities with organizational goals and budget constraints, conducting market research and price comparison to support data-driven decision-making, and utilizing competitive sourcing methods such as RFP and RFQ in accordance with procurement governance policies. The role involves close collaboration with Legal and Finance teams to manage vendor contracts, ensure compliance with aviation standards, and validate financial documentation against contractual agreements. The position includes tracking contract renewals, managing renegotiation processes to prevent service disruptions, and maintaining compliance with procurement policies through monitoring vendor performance using SLAs and KPIs. The role requires overseeing vendor onboarding processes, nurturing supplier relationships, and addressing performance deviations in coordination with operational teams. The Procurement Manager is also responsible for leading evaluation of supplier offers, supporting cost-saving initiatives, maintaining dashboards for procurement savings, and ensuring logistics lifecycle accuracy for sourced items such as crew uniforms. Additional responsibilities include coordinating with cross-functional teams to support sourcing needs, engaging in audits, standardizing procurement practices, maintaining organized documentation, and preparing monthly procurement reports in compliance with aviation audit standards. The role requires strong expertise in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, procurement tools, financial analysis, and commercial evaluation within a fast-paced, multi-station aviation or supply chain-intensive environment.

- Execute competitive sourcing processes using RFP and RFQ methodologies in compliance with procurement governance policies and internal standards
- Collaborate with Legal and Finance teams to draft, review, and manage vendor contracts while ensuring compliance with aviation standards and validating financial documentation against contractual agreements
- Track contract renewals and lead renegotiation processes to optimize cost structures and prevent service disruptions across multiple operational stations
- Monitor vendor compliance and performance using SLAs and KPIs, manage supplier relationships, oversee vendor onboarding processes, and address performance deviations with operational stakeholders
- Lead evaluation of supplier offers, support cost-saving initiatives, and maintain procurement savings dashboards and reporting mechanisms
- Manage logistics lifecycle activities including sourcing for crew uniforms and ensuring accurate coordination of procurement processes across departments
- Coordinate with internal teams to provide sourcing support, engage in procurement audits, standardize procurement practices, maintain organized documentation, and prepare monthly procurement reports in line with aviation audit standards
Experience & skills
- Hold a Bachelorās degree in Business, Supply Chain, Aviation Management, or a related field providing foundational knowledge in procurement, logistics, and commercial operations
- Demonstrate 5 to 7 years of procurement experience, preferably within aviation, hospitality, or supply chain-intensive environments involving multi-category and multi-station operations
- Possess strong expertise in contract management, contract negotiation, procurement governance, and logistics management within a regulated operational environment
- Exhibit experience managing multiple vendors and procurement categories simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, ensuring continuity of supply and operational efficiency
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and procurement tools for data analysis, reporting, and procurement process management
- Show strong analytical, financial analysis, and commercial evaluation skills with the ability to assess supplier offers, validate financial documentation, and drive cost optimization initiatives
- Maintain knowledge of SLAs, KPIs, vendor performance management frameworks, and procurement compliance standards within the aviation industry
- Demonstrate ability to support audits, maintain procurement documentation, prepare reports, and ensure adherence to aviation audit standards and internal governance policies
