Job description
HSBC International Wealth and Premier Banking (IWPB) is seeking a Manager - Wealth Sales Quality EMEA to cover regional SQ activities, drive consistency, and ensure adherence to global operating procedures. The role ensures HSBC customers are treated fairly, recommended suitable products, and that wealth sales comply with HSBC policies, local and external regulations, and current legislation. The position provides technical support and guidance to the Sales Quality team, identifies and escalates wealth-related risks, manages the Mystery Shopping program, oversees projects, delivers training, and reports on results and trends to local and regional forums.

Key responsibilities
- Regional Wealth lead covering the regional SQ activities, driving consistency and ensuring adherence to global Operating Procedure.
- Provide assurance that HSBC’s customers are treated fairly and recommended products are suitable for their needs and risk appetite.
- Ensure wealth sales are conducted and documented in line with HSBC policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Provide wealth technical support and guidance to Sales Quality team in line with HSBC Global Operating Procedure and regulatory environment.
- Identify wealth-related issues and risks and escalate appropriately.
- Manage and enhance relationships with internal contacts to ensure best practice, issues, concerns, and learning points are shared.
- Identify opportunities to continuously improve the service provided or process in place, referring to senior management where appropriate.
- Prepare and analyse the wealth sales outcome for the Region.
- Ensure that SQ Operating Procedure requirements are met and reported.
- Manage the Mystery Shopping program within the country and region.
- Manage and oversee Group projects as delegated by the Head of Sales Quality.
- Deliver wealth training sessions to both Sales Quality and Sales teams.
- Manage programs, reporting results and trends to required local and regional forums.
- Ensure all areas of risk are considered, the correct remedial action taken, and processes changed where necessary.
Experience & skills
- Graduation degree is a must to secure a UAE Visa and Work Permit.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Financial Services, industry, wealth products, and regulation.
- Strong decision-making and people management skills.
- Good working knowledge of HSBC systems.
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of HSBC Sales Quality Standards, Sales Procedures, and holistic planning approach.
- Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise.
- Proficiency with Excel and MI reporting tools.
- Intermediate IT and modelling skills.
