Job description
The Manager - Demand Planning will be responsible for overseeing demand planning functions within a supply chain environment, ideally in S&OP mature industries such as FMCG, CPG, or metal production. The role involves managing small to mid-sized teams, driving process and business improvements, and coordinating projects across multiple functions. The position requires deep knowledge of forecasting tools, strong analytical skills, and experience with ERP systems like SAP and planning platforms like Anaplan or IBP.

Key responsibilities
- Lead and manage demand planning within the supply chain function.
- Oversee and mentor small to mid-sized teams.
- Drive process improvements and business result improvement initiatives across multiple functions.
- Coordinate demand planning projects and align with senior stakeholders.
- Utilize statistical forecasting techniques to support demand planning accuracy.
- Leverage ERP systems and planning tools for advanced forecasting and planning.

- Present findings and initiatives effectively to stakeholders.
Experience & skills
- Master's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Mathematics or related technical field.
- 10ā15 years of experience in supply chain, preferably in demand planning and S&OP mature industries such as FMCG/CPG or metal production.
- 3ā4 years of managerial experience leading small or mid-sized teams.
- Customer service oriented thinking.
- Experience coordinating projects in demand planning and aligning with senior stakeholders.
- Strong coordination and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of supply chain processes, demand planning, and statistical forecasting.
- Experience with ERP systems including SAP.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, pivot tables, and Power BI.
- Strong analytical skills and experience working with large data sets.
- Knowledge of advanced planning and forecasting tools such as Anaplan, IBP, APO.
