Key responsibilities

• Ensure that the quality of teaching, learning, and assessment (TLA) continues to progress towards an Outstanding standard across the school.
• Ensure that high-quality assessment directly leads to teaching improvements and enhanced student outcomes.
• Develop, implement, and monitor robust quality assurance and self-evaluation systems across the school.
• Oversee the writing and continual updating of the Self Evaluation Form (SEF) for all aspects related to TLA.
• Create and execute improvement plans based on internal and external evaluations related to teaching and learning.
• Report to the Senior Team and Local Advisory Board (LAB) on TLA quality, improvement initiatives, and outcomes.
• Identify areas for professional development through QA findings and address them through targeted staff training programs.
• Lead the induction program for new teachers, ensuring effective integration and professional growth.
• Lead the examinations and data teams to develop and maintain efficient assessment systems that support academic achievement.
• Monitor and report on student progress at all Key Stages, taking corrective actions as necessary to improve outcomes.
• Provide academic and pastoral guidance to students, particularly during examination periods.
• Ensure smooth operation and compliance of examinations and assessments across the school.
• Ensure school-wide adherence to educational policies and procedures related to teaching and learning.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and high performance among staff and students.
