Job description
The Director of Marketing & Communications role at Raffles the Palm Dubai oversees and leads all marketing and communication efforts for a luxury five-star hotel located on the western crescent of Palm Jumeirah. The position is responsible for creating and promoting on-brand messaging across various channels to enhance the image of the hotel, drive consumer awareness, increase market share, and build brand awareness. Reporting to the Area Director of Commercial, the role manages all activities within the marketing department while ensuring adherence to brand standards and brand guidelines. The Director creates and executes the annual marketing plan in line with budget requirements, acts as the hotelās primary brand ambassador, and develops communication strategies executed in collaboration with Sales, Spa, and Food and Beverage departments to ensure profit growth and brand exposure. The role includes planning and overseeing advertising and promotional activities, managing the hotelās creative agency to develop marketing collateral, promotional pieces, and advertising campaigns, and working closely with digital marketing to develop compelling consumer and media content. Responsibilities also include overseeing all marketing initiatives, verifying that all collateral and digital advertising align with brand standard guidelines and brand voice, maintaining positive relations with Corporate and Regional offices, and overseeing photo shoots for the hotel and seasonal campaigns. The role operates within a luxury hospitality environment and requires expertise in traditional marketing, digital marketing, e-commerce, and communication (PR), supported by knowledge of basic accounting, analytical capabilities, and fluency in English.

- Build and maintain positive working relationships with Corporate and Regional offices
- Oversee hotel and seasonal campaign photo shoots
Experience & skills
- Hold a Bachelorās degree in Marketing, Business, or a related major
- Possess a minimum of 5 yearsā experience in marketing, digital marketing, or a related professional area
- Demonstrate hospitality marketing or advertising agency experience, preferably within luxury hotels
- Exhibit strong expertise in traditional marketing, digital marketing, e-commerce, and public relations (PR)
- Show a strong luxury hotel background with knowledge of all hotel departments
- Apply knowledge of basic accounting, math skills, and analytical capabilities
- Demonstrate proficiency in professional presentation and organizational planning
- Be fluent in English, both written and spoken
