The manager designs and facilitates innovative training materials and learning experiences using established learning methodologies including workshops, e-learning, virtual training sessions, mobile learning, gamification, and video-based training. The role integrates global best practices into regional hotel learning programs and collaborates with global and regional learning teams to conduct training needs analysis, refine instructional content, and ensure consistent learning standards across multiple regions. A key responsibility includes supporting the Saudi talent development program Masarona by IHG, which aims to nurture Saudi hospitality leaders, highlight progressive career paths, and showcase opportunities for local talent to grow within the hospitality sector. The position also contributes to New Hotel Openings (NHOP) by delivering on-site or virtual training sessions covering company orientation, brand standards, and leadership components for hotel teams. The manager partners with third-party vendors on training program development and ensures alignment with project specifications and learning objectives. The role applies instructional design and adult learning principles to recommend effective training approaches, design strategies, delivery models, and evaluation methods. The position also supports the rollout of global and regional documentation, performance-enhancing tools, and systems that integrate operational and product knowledge across hotel operations. Responsibilities include monitoring and reconciling budget lines related to training programs, ensuring accurate financial tracking. The manager acts as a subject matter expert for operational learning initiatives, collaborates with hotel learning leaders, HR business partners, and hotel leadership teams to implement key learning initiatives, and provides guidance on hotel-level training queries. The role requires strong project management capability to oversee initiatives from concept to deployment, advanced stakeholder management across multiple organizational levels, and strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of hotel operations is preferred to ensure learning initiatives align with operational requirements across IHG’s global portfolio of more than 6,000 hotel destinations.
