Job description
This senior-level client-facing role within the Real Estate Structuring & Advisory Unit requires leadership in preparing and reviewing high volume, complex, and high-value real estate debt transactions for institutional clients across the UAE, GCC, and international markets. The Director will also require in-depth knowledge of real estate funds, capital raising, construction, development, and real estate capital markets. The position involves client meetings, structuring transactions, creating credit papers, financial modeling, and supporting the development of new products and strategies while ensuring compliance with local laws and bank regulations.

Key responsibilities
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of real estate funds, capital raising within the real estate industry and real estate construction and development
- Lead in the preparation of complex real estate structuring credit papers, financial models and documentation for high value transactions within the Real Estate Debt industry
- Regularly meet with existing and new clients to ascertain appropriate strategies related to their debt and capital requirements
- Contribute towards the effective achievement of the business objectives through engaged participation in the unit
- Assist the Unit Manager in the formation of new products and market strategies
- Assist with customer relationships within portfolios of high complexity to maximize customer satisfaction and ensure effective structuring of credit proposals
- Demonstrate an understanding of market/economic trends and the effects of socio-economic factors to proactively develop appropriate credit rating systems, risk mitigation methodologies and credit proposals
- Develop and maintain effective business relationships with all relevant external/internal entities with highest standards of business ethics
- Assist in structuring complex transactions with clients ensuring compliance with Bank and Local laws and regulations
- Review terms of facility, credit reports and legal documentation of clients invited to participate in the facility to check their background and risk profile
Experience & skills
- MRICS Membership and CFA Charterholder mandatory
- In-depth knowledge of real estate funds, capital raising, real estate construction and development, and capital markets
- Expert knowledge of investor risk theory to recommend new products/services and implement suitable risk controls
- Expert knowledge of credit proposal processes and procedures
- Robust knowledge of UAE products/services related to Real Estate Debt
- Strong communication skills in English, Arabic an added advantage
- Effective client relationship and negotiation skills
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
- Sound knowledge of relevant UAE real estate procedures and policy
- Detailed knowledge of competitor products/services
- Minimum 8ā10 years of experience in the UAE real estate/finance market
