Job description
Business Unit Control, Valuation Control, Central MI and Change Management make up FAB's Global Markets Business Finance team, which sits in Group Finance and reports to the CFO, CIB Finance & International. This VP heads the Change Management team, a techno-functional group linking Global Markets, Operations, Compliance, Risk, Legal, IT and PMO across Head Office and international locations. International roll-outs, new product launches, process re-engineering and system change requests are the main workstreams. All system change requests for Product Control and Financial Control are centralised with you, from logging gaps and reviewing BRDs to UAT and global rollout. Murex and downstream systems are central, with business needs translated into functional requirements for complex financial products. Delegated authority for the New Activity Working Group (NAWG) means you sign off new products, including their behaviour, lifecycle and accounting. Mergers and acquisitions bring integration and migration work that you lead from a GM Finance perspective. As Product Owner, you define the Minimal Viable Product and keep RCSA, ORAP and SOP documentation in order. Candidates need 10 to 12 years in a similar role at a reputable international bank, with a track record of delivering techno-functional bank-wide projects and a Bachelor's in Engineering, Accounting or Finance.
