Job description
Maintenance at a Jubail refinery and petrochemical site runs through contractors during normal operations, shutdowns and turnarounds, and this Commercial Manager with KBR's Sustainable Technology Solutions business gets those contracts in place. Scopes of Work (SOW), evaluation criteria, contracting strategies and preliminary cost estimates are developed for each maintenance need. Tendering runs end to end, from bidder selection and Instructions to Bidders (ITB) through clarifications, commercial evaluation, negotiation and award. Once contracts are live, cost control, budget monitoring, payment verification, variations, change orders and claims all come under your administration. Contractors and subcontractors are managed from mobilisation through KPI evaluation and corrective action to close-out. HSSEQ, QA/QC, technical, commercial and DOA requirements are built into every contract, with documentation and audit trails kept in order. Maintenance, Procurement, Operations, Engineering, Finance and HSSEQ teams all coordinate with you so contracting stays timely and cost-effective. Expect to bring a Bachelor's degree, 7+ years in contracting with strong oil and gas or refinery maintenance experience, and good SAP knowledge.
