Job description
The Product Manager - Procurement (Corporate Information Systems) role at ByteDance in Dubai operates within the Product team responsible for developing and optimizing internal enterprise platforms that support core corporate functions including human resources, workplace services, finance, legal affairs, procurement, and approval workflows. The Information Systems team manages the full lifecycle of internal enterprise platforms, including strategic planning, solution design, system implementation, security management, configuration, and continuous optimization to deliver secure, efficient, and user-friendly B2B products that enhance operational efficiency and support data-driven decision-making across the organization. The role focuses specifically on procurement system products and requires deep involvement in demand mining, business process abstraction, system architecture design, and functional iteration of complex procurement platforms. The Product Manager collaborates closely with cross-departmental stakeholders including procurement, finance, and internal control teams to gather and analyze requirements and convert them into standardized product requirement documents. Responsibilities include designing and iterating procurement system architectures covering core modules such as supplier access, sourcing workflows, contract performance tracking, and cost control functions to ensure system stability and practical usability. The position also leads optimization and integration initiatives between procurement systems and ERP systems to ensure seamless cross-system collaboration and eliminate business process breakpoints. The role emphasizes data-driven product management by establishing procurement product indicator systems, conducting data analysis using tools such as SQL and Tableau to identify product performance issues, and defining iterative improvement strategies to enhance user experience. The Product Manager contributes to knowledge development by accumulating procurement business knowledge assets and promoting knowledge sharing between technical and business teams. The position also involves strategic product planning by analyzing industry trends, competitor dynamics, and procurement operational pain points to design scalable product strategies and promote the digital and intelligent upgrade of the procurement lifecycle including sourcing, supplier management, contracts, orders, and settlement processes. The role requires experience designing B-end enterprise products within procurement or supply chain environments, familiarity with ERP system architecture, and technical understanding of system integration concepts including API and microservices. Additional responsibilities include creating product prototypes using tools such as Axure, Figma, or Mo Dao, modeling complex business processes, and collaborating with technical teams to implement scalable enterprise procurement solutions within ByteDance’s corporate information system ecosystem.
