Job description
Insurance clients in Riyadh are the focus for this Senior Manager in Deloitte's Audit & Assurance practice, where the job starts with identifying each entity's strategic audit and risk priorities and raising them with key stakeholders. Risk assessment, materiality and scope all feed an audit plan that reflects wider business issues and messaging from the National Audit Office. Complex engagements need project plans early in the cycle, with clear timescales, contingency plans and the right people for testing. Client management teams hear about dependencies at the start, so the deadline or fee consequences of slippage are understood, and overruns are negotiated when they happen. Revenue testing gets a rigorous approach built on process flow diagrams, recognition policies, a considered view on controls reliance and a tailored response to fraud risk. Group audits bring component auditors into the picture, and their referral instructions and responses are yours to review. Experts and specialists join planning meetings with clear expectations on professional skepticism, while early consultation supports difficult judgements. AI tools approved by the firm are part of the toolkit, with every output validated before it reaches the workpapers. Candidates need at least 10 years in public accounting and audit, preferably with big Firms, extensive IFRS knowledge and a CA, ACCA or CPA qualification, and bilingual Arabic/English is preferred.
