Job description
Dubai Holding Asset Management (DHAM) seeks a Business Analyst to join its Business Technology department. The role involves conducting assessments of proposed solution activities with business stakeholders, estimating based on business requirements, solution design, and system capabilities, and quantifying operational, financial, and business advantages of proposed solutions. Responsibilities include consulting with functional unit management to identify and document business needs, preparing business requirement documents, assessing risks of various solutions, and preparing business cases. The analyst will coordinate project delivery, contribute to project planning, support functional testing activities, and facilitate development and testing of information. Service delivery responsibilities encompass ensuring understanding and user acceptance of all Information Management tools, conducting knowledge transfer sessions, providing functional expertise and production support for reporting solutions, and maintaining functional documentation. The role requires a minimum of a graduate degree in information technology or business management, with certifications such as BCS International Diploma in Business Analysis, Systems Modelling Techniques, Requirements Engineering, and Business Analysis Essentials. Knowledge of Agile methodologies and Six Sigma Quality Methodology is also required.

- Conduct assessment of proposed solution activities with business stakeholders
- Assist in provision of estimates based on understanding of business requirements, solution design, and system capabilities
- Quantify operational, financial, and business advantages of proposed solutions for stakeholders
- Liaise with internal and external parties to gather requirements and acquire consensus on key objectives
- Consult with functional unit management to identify, define, and document business needs, drivers, objectives, current operational procedures, problems, and input/output requirements
- Obtain key inputs from portfolio management teams and identify solution interdependencies
- Prepare business requirement documents including business objectives, key requirements, and process mappings
- Assess risks of various solutions and prioritize competing business demands
- Prepare business cases and produce timely and accurate documents based on standard templates
- Coordinate project delivery by participating in design reviews and walk-throughs to communicate system designs and validate proposed solutions
- Contribute to project planning and coordination of solution development through the project lifecycle
- Support preparation of functional testing activities including test plans, scenarios, and test results
- Facilitate development and testing of information, including developing UAT templates, collating test results, and ensuring feedback is captured by the technical team
- Ensure understanding and user acceptance of all Information Management tools and improve user autonomy
- Conduct knowledge transfer sessions with sponsors, SMEs, and other stakeholders on new functionalities
- Provide functional expertise and production support for reporting solutions and ensure business as usual operations
- Maintain and update all functional documentation of the reporting solution
- Develop in-depth knowledge of Group Business Processes/Operations and systems/applications to ensure relevance and efficient delivery of services
Experience & skills
