Job description
The Senior Manager - Electrical Engineering will report to the ELV Associate Director and play a key role within the ELV team. The position is responsible for overseeing design reviews and coordination of ELV systems, including telecommunications, fire alarms, structured cabling, and BMS, ensuring that the final outputs are aligned with 6-star luxury property standards. The role entails leadership in technical decision-making, coordination with consultants and contractors, participation in value engineering, and maintaining adherence to corporate standards and quality assurance protocols.

Key responsibilities
- Contribute to successful project completion and management by providing technical review services in accordance with project time and quality
- Lead participation in design progress, design coordination meetings and workshops
- Liaise with local authorities
- Participate in preparation of technical RFPs
- Responsible for design review of the Consultant / Contractor-designed ELV services such as fire and voice alarm systems, telecommunication services, extra low voltage services, BMS and related utility systems
- Participate in design review meetings and workshops
- Prepare meeting records, design review, and design progress reports
- Provide input into value engineering exercises
- Ensure adherence to corporate standards and TRSDCās OH&S requirements
- Ensure relevant QA procedures are followed
- Maintain, develop and retain a high standard of technical skill
- Commit to continual professional development and learning
- Make proactive decisions and act on own initiative
- Lead or contribute independently or as part of a team
- Work under pressure and manage deadlines

Experience & skills
- Bachelorās Degree in Electronics, Communication, or IT discipline (B.Eng or B.Sc)
- 8+ years of relevant experience in design and delivery of projects within the consulting industry (preferable)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Sound knowledge of design software
- Experience in ICT/ELV Engineering including structured cabling, data networking, fiber optics, WiFi, wireless technologies, IT servers
- Basic understanding of CCTV, access control, intrusion alarms, intercom, public address systems
- Good understanding of design and engineering procedures
- Quality oriented with strong time management skills
- Experience designing ELV systems across various building types
- Assertiveness and aptitude to lead and direct teams
- Background in design engineering and/or hands-on ELV installation
