Job description
The Business Development Lead will be responsible for driving revenue growth, acquiring new clients, and expanding market reach through strategic and consultative selling across enterprise environments. This senior role involves identifying and pursuing high-value leads, developing and executing business development strategies, managing end-to-end sales cycles, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions. The role also includes maintaining relationships with key clients and decision-makers, aligning product offerings with market needs, and tracking key business development metrics. Candidates must possess strong commercial acumen, be experienced in using CRM tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, and Zoho CRM, and have a comprehensive understanding of bid/RFP processes, contract structuring, and pricing models. Global experience across regions such as North America, EMEA, and APAC is desirable, along with prior experience in B2B enterprise or consultative sales environments.

Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute the business development strategy to drive revenue growth and market expansion
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and high-value leads
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, decision makers, and industry stakeholders
- Lead end-to-end sales cycles, including proposal development, negotiations, and deal closure
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and delivery teams to align offerings with client needs
- Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitor activities to inform strategy
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities
- Track and report key business development metrics, pipeline health, and revenue forecasts
- Mentor and support junior business development team members
Experience & skills
- Bachelorās or Masterās degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field
- 11+ years of experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships with a track record of closing high-value deals
- Strong commercial acumen and deep understanding of enterprise sales processes
- Ability to build credibility and trust with C-level executives and business leaders
- Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, and Zoho CRM
- Understanding of contract structuring, pricing models, and bid/RFP processes
- Experience with global sales and business development across regions (e.g., North America, EMEA, APAC)
- Prior exposure to solution selling, consultative sales, or B2B enterprise sales
