Job description
The Associate Director ā Treasury Solutions Group at HSBC, based in Dubai, UAE, operates within the Global Payments Solutions (GPS) business to deliver treasury transformation strategies and engage corporate clients at a strategic level. The role requires the development and delivery of treasury review frameworks, diagnostics, benchmarking tools, and best practice guidance to enhance treasury operations and working capital effectiveness. This includes pre-sales solution placement, internal training development, thought leadership, and event participation to elevate HSBC's GPS profile. The incumbent must provide expertise in liquidity and funding operations, FX and investment management, treasury risk management, and the implementation of systems and operational practices across multi-jurisdictional corporate environments. Effective stakeholder engagement, communication, and strategic advisory to CFOs, CEOs, and treasury teams are essential to the roleās success. The position also supports regulatory compliance, diversity, and risk governance mandates.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Meet with corporate treasurers to help shape their treasury transformation roadmap
- Work with relationship teams to enhance clientsā treasury and working capital efficiency
- Enable advance solution placement in pre-sales client engagements
- Develop scalable treasury review frameworks, methodologies, and recommendation playbooks
- Create and implement treasury benchmarking and diagnostic tools using digital and data-driven approaches
- Develop and disseminate treasury best practices and learning from client engagements
- Design and deliver treasury and payment industry training programs to internal frontline teams
- Produce thought leadership materials on treasury trends, platforms, and digital ecosystems
- Represent GPS at industry events, client roundtables, and HSBC proprietary events
- Collaborate with marketing and content teams to enhance event impact and effectiveness
Experience & skills
- Graduation degree required to secure UAE Visa and Work Permit
- Established treasury expertise with corporate and/or multinational experience in the Middle East
- Experience in consulting or implementing treasury systems, risk and change management
- Practical experience in liquidity, funding, FX, hedging, and investment in complex corporate environments
- Experience with working capital metrics, policy development, and data-driven performance benchmarking
- Familiarity with digital sales channels and integrated payment systems
- Track record in thought leadership and engagement with executive-level stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with impact-oriented messaging
- Strong stakeholder engagement and internal networking skills
