Job description
ADNOC Logistics & Services is the maritime logistics arm of ADNOC Group, shipping to more than 50 countries, and its projects carry the kind of EHS risk that needs close senior oversight. Working in liaison with the Group HSE Function, this Abu Dhabi role develops the programs, procedures, controls and training that keep those projects compliant with ADNOC policies. Project compliance is measured against HSE Impact Assessment (HSEIA & EIA) Codes, HSEIA Guidelines and project specific HSEIA Report recommendations. A fair amount of the week goes into reviewing Consultant and Contractor design work, endorsing HSE documents and taking part in Hazop, safety studies and accident investigations. Site visits are regular, supporting construction and commissioning and confirming that the HSE System is fully implemented. Behind that sits the HSEMS itself, which you configure, upgrade and support with a document control system and annual audit plans. Reporting is steady too, from the Annual Sustainability Report and annual HSE letters to top Management through to compliance reporting to ADNOC GHSE. Assigned personnel in the unit report to you. Eight years in safety engineering and HSE management systems is the baseline, along with a Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Science and a Diploma in Health and Safety Engineering.
