Job description
The Cyber Security Analyst ā L4 role at Wipro is responsible for analysing, identifying, rectifying and recommending improvement measures to strengthen the organizationās security posture and protect sensitive information. Key duties include ensuring customer-centric cybersecurity support, monitoring and safeguarding log sources and security access, planning for disaster recovery in the event of security breaches and monitoring for attacks, intrusions and unauthorized or illegal activity. The role performs moderately complex log reviews and forensic analysis to identify unauthorized access, conducts security assessments, risk analysis and root cause analysis of incidents, and handles incidents escalated by the L1 team in 24x7 rotational shifts. Additional responsibilities include using advanced analytics tools to detect emerging threat patterns and vulnerabilities, completing tactical security operations tasks, analysing attacks to develop remedial actions, conducting detailed incident analysis, generating reports and dashboards, coordinating with stakeholders on cybersecurity issues and maintaining an information security risk register. The position assists with internal and external audits related to information security, supports the creation and delivery of cybersecurity awareness training, and provides guidance on spam, unwanted or malicious emails. Performance parameters include timely security breach resolution, SLA adherence, response time and resolution time. The role requires 5ā8 years of experience and mandatory proficiency in Guardium.
