Job description
The Pricing Manager – Joint Venture at Etihad Airways is responsible for maximizing revenue across joint venture markets by developing, implementing, and monitoring pricing strategies tailored to partner airline dynamics. The role involves aligning pricing actions with partners, analyzing market demand and competitor behavior, and ensuring joint PRASK targets are achieved. The position requires extensive use of tools including ATPCO, GDS, DDS, and Tableau to execute data-driven pricing decisions. The incumbent works closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Demand, Distribution, Alliances, and Network to ensure coherent pricing actions and continuous improvement of JV revenue processes.

Key responsibilities
- Maximize revenue through strategic pricing in joint venture markets, aligned with PRASK and JV goals
- Design and adapt pricing strategies in coordination with partner carriers and market demand
- Participate in regular joint venture governance meetings and coordinate approvals for fare actions, promotions, and tactical responses
- Collaborate with partner airlines on pricing approvals, strategic campaigns, and joint performance reviews
- Monitor competitor actions, benchmark pricing, and adjust fare products in JV markets
- Use pricing tools and data platforms (O&D, ATPCO, GDS, Tableau) to execute and evaluate strategies
- Review performance metrics and propose improvements to pricing or tactical offers
- Work with Sales, Demand, Distribution, Alliances, and Network teams to ensure aligned pricing actions
- Identify gaps and propose enhancements in pricing processes and partner coordination
Experience & skills
- Possess a degree or equivalent analytical experience in a relevant field such as finance, economics, or business analytics
- Minimum of 5 years in a numerate and analytical role, preferably in airline revenue management or pricing
- Demonstrable experience managing joint venture and partner airline pricing, including offline markets and interline/codeshare coordination
- Proficient with ATPCO, GDS, DDS, Tableau, and pricing automation tools for effective execution and performance monitoring
- Strong capability in data analysis and revenue optimization to make informed, actionable recommendations
- Experience in monitoring competitor activity and implementing dynamic pricing strategies in complex network environments
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills to coordinate with internal teams and external partners
- Ability to work under pressure in a high-stakes environment while maintaining strategic focus and operational excellence
