Job description

Performance across the Roads Management Centre, Tunnels Control Centres, communication network, and ITS Systems needs constant monitoring and clear reporting, and that responsibility sits at the heart of this Operations and Maintenance Performance Manager role. You will lead the analysis and preparation of operational improvement strategies, managing monthly performance reporting for the ITS Project alongside ad-hoc reporting for major incidents and special events. Subcontractors providing SCATS and traffic engineering support for the RMC and Tunnels need close management, keeping on-road performance optimized and aligned with corridor performance and incident management measures. Monthly performance reports for RMC and Tunnels operations, along with technical SLA reporting, get produced and reviewed against strict deadlines and quality standards. Ad-hoc major incident and special event reporting gets coordinated, with lessons learned and best practice assessments led for each one. Data and process analysis drives a traffic engineering improvements plan covering SCATS traffic signal management, incident management, and event management improvements. Customer complaints relating to RMC and Tunnels operations get recorded and responded to within SLA timings, with root cause analysis led on every case. Key stakeholders such as the Ministry of Interior, the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy, and the Ministry of Transports look to this role as the focal point for special event coordination. Traffic response plans for special events get prepared, along with the configuration of traffic management systems needed to support them, and existing response plans get analysed for effectiveness before improvements get delivered.
