Job description
The Senior MEP Manager – Mechanical at Mace will lead large-scale MEP construction packages across mixed-use developments in Dubai. This role involves full oversight of mechanical engineering delivery, from planning and design through procurement, installation, and commissioning. The role requires strong technical expertise, commercial acumen, and leadership skills to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities
- Manage MEP construction delivery to achieve programme, budget, safety, and quality outcomes
- Lead multidisciplinary teams ensuring compliance, governance, and profitable project delivery
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders
- Oversee health, safety, wellbeing, quality assurance, and commissioning processes
- Deploy strategic initiatives such as prefabrication, commissioning optimization, and digital technologies
- Implement delivery strategies, programmes, and quality assurance processes to ensure milestones and sequencing are achieved
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and provide proactive solutions to issues
- Ensure alignment with Mace standards, local regulations, and client requirements
- Mentor and develop team members and junior engineers to build project capability
Experience & skills
- Minimum 15 years of experience in MEP construction delivery, with at least 5 years in the UAE on large-scale projects
- Advanced knowledge of project management processes, planning, and construction sequencing
- Strong technical expertise in mechanical building services, installation, testing, prefabrication, and commissioning practices
- Proven commercial acumen, including budget management and stakeholder engagement
- Degree in Engineering/Construction or equivalent
- Professional certifications such as SMSTS, CSCS, PMP or equivalent preferred
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
- Commitment to safety, quality, and client-focused project delivery
- Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams and manage complex projects
- Familiarity with digital construction tools and modern project delivery techniques
