Job description
Although the posting is headed Systems Architect, the body describes a Senior IT Project Manager role, leading the end-to-end delivery of complex technology projects in financial services, preferably banking, from Doha. Scope, schedule, cost, risks, resources and delivery outcomes all sit with you. Projects are medium to large in scale and often span international, regional or multi-country environments. Governance is structured, so senior management, business sponsors, technology teams and vendors need regular, well-organised engagement. Internal teams work alongside external vendors, consultants and third-party service providers, and keeping them coordinated is a big part of the job. Waterfall, Agile and hybrid approaches are all in play, with regulatory awareness built into delivery. PMP certification is mandatory, along with at least 7 years of hands-on project management experience. PRINCE2, Scrum, SAFe, ITIL, COBIT or PMI ACP certifications are preferred.
