Wood’s Oil, Gas & New Energies business seeks a Senior Cost Control Engineer. The role develops contractual requirements for cost control and estimation, invoicing of payments and variations to be embedded in FEED, PMC, and EPC Agreements and incorporated into tender documents/agreements; evaluates technical bids (PMC, FEED, EPC) for compliance, issues clarifications to bidders, and prepares the relevant portions of the Technical Evaluation Report and final contract documents after incorporating bulletins and clarifications; evaluates contractor variation requests/claims, performs in-depth analysis of all cost-related submissions from consultants, prepares counter-estimates using contractual unit rate schedules, and recommends approvals; prepares AFE/AFOU for ongoing projects; coordinates with Project Control Managers across all PMCs to enforce Project Control Procedures and requirements for successful implementation; and ensures charges of costs to correct account codes.
